The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Papua New Guinea had over years been advocating on Gender Based Violence (GBV) and have collaborated with various Non Government Organisations, Government and Stakeholders to combat this issue. 

Rently, UNDP carried out a pilot project aimed at collecting data for GBV from from selected provinces to be tracked at a main central hub.

Blooming Teens project is one work being done by SMALL PNG with support from young pregnant women and some visual artists here in Papua New Guinea.

This project evolved and have greatly changed people's thinking from criticism and condemnation to compassion and a new focus on how to prevent or reduce teenage pregnancy.
